AARP Foundation Tax-Aide offers free, individualized tax preparation for low-to moderate-income taxpayers. Call 727-755-3112 to request an appointment and a volunteer will call you back to schedule a time. You will not recognize the area code of the volunteer's phone number because it is a Google phone number. There will be no walk-in tax preparation. Join us for a weekly knitting and crochet group! Bring your current project, start something new, learn a new skill, and meet other crafters! Don't know how to knit or crochet? That's ok, we can help you get started. Our group will be meeting in the Reading Garden or the main area of the library (weather permitting) during February, March, and April. Gulfport's Tuesday Morning Fresh Market
takes place EVERY Tuesday
9:00 am-3:00 pm - October - May
9:00 am-2:00 pm - June - September.
The Gulfport Tuesday Fresh Market is a year-round open-air market held in Gulfport's Waterfront District on Beach Blvd. below 28th Ave. South.
This program is intended for children 2 and under and their caregivers. We will sing songs, read books, enjoy lap bounce rhymes, and meet other caregivers with infants and young toddlers, while practicing safe social distancing. Older siblings are also welcome. Join us for a ukulele jam session led by the Tampa Bay Ukulele Society. Music will be projected on the TV so just bring yourself and your ukulele. Check the Circulation desk to see if any of our ukulele kits are available for check out. See you there!

Kiwanis Club of Gulfport Announces 5th Annual Community Baby Shower and Baby Supply Drive
The Kiwanis Club of Gulfport is proud to announce its 5th Annual Community Baby Shower, scheduled for April 11, 2026. This cherished annual event supports local mothers and families by providing essential baby items and community resources in a welcoming and celebratory environment.
In preparation, Kiwanis is launching its Baby Supply Drive and is now accepting donations. Community members are encouraged to contribute much-needed baby items through the club’s Amazon Wish List at https://www.amazon.com/registries/gl/guest-view/6MPEY44NP8TL or by dropping off donations at partner location V9 EATS, located at 5800 9th Avenue North, St. Petersburg, FL.
